ReStart Strengthens IMX Monitor Dashboard Across Major Integration Engines
ReStart Consulting has expanded the reach and capability of its IMX Monitor dashboard, giving NHS Trusts greater operational visibility across almost all major integration engines used within live clinical environments.
The dashboard enhancement builds on ReStart’s established IMX Monitor platform, which currently oversees more than 10.8 million integration messages every day. The result is a shared, real-time view of system health that brings monitoring intelligence directly into Trust teams, not just behind the scenes.
For organisations managing complex integration estates, the dashboard provides a clear operational picture of messaging activity, site-relevant alerts and support events, helping teams understand the live status of the systems that underpin patient care.
A Dashboard Designed Around NHS Operational Reality
The IMX Monitor dashboard is designed for real-world NHS infrastructure, where multiple engines, legacy systems and evolving digital programmes coexist.
The dashboard now supports:
- Rhapsody
- InterSystems engine environments
- Qvera
This expanded coverage means Trusts can access consistent dashboard visibility across the engines that power most supported integration environments, without needing additional tooling or architectural change.
Rather than replacing existing systems, the dashboard sits above them, providing a unified operational window into diverse estates.
Visibility Connected Directly to Support Action
The IMX Monitor dashboard is not passive reporting. It is embedded into ReStart’s Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 support framework, meaning visibility is directly tied to response. Trusts see the same monitoring intelligence used by ReStart’s specialist engineers. Alerts surfaced in the dashboard are already part of active support workflows, ensuring issues are triaged and addressed in parallel rather than waiting to be discovered.
This model reduces internal IT burden, improves response confidence and strengthens collaboration between Trust teams and ReStart support.
Built for Scale, Designed for Transparency
As integration volumes grow and NHS digital estates become more interconnected, operational visibility becomes critical infrastructure. The dashboard translates high-volume monitoring into accessible insight. Behind every visual indicator is a platform trusted to safeguard millions of clinical messages daily but presented in a way that supports faster understanding and clearer decision-making for Trust teams.
Paul Seddon, Support Manager at ReStart, explains: “The dashboard gives customers direct visibility into the same environment our engineers monitor every day. It provides reassurance that their integration engines are functioning as they should, and if issues arise, customers know they’ve already been detected and are being actively managed.”
ReStart will continue evolving the IMX Monitor dashboard in line with NHS operational needs, ensuring Trusts have the visibility required to manage increasingly complex integration environments.
