Another IMX Archive: South West Yorkshire NHS Foundation Trust is live retiring legacy EPR system

We’re proud that another customer, South West Yorkshire NHS Partnership Foundation Trust (SWYPFT) has gone live with ReStart’s IMX Archive solution to support the archiving of its Carenotes legacy system in use at one of its hospital sites, ahead of a full transition to SystmOne, the Trust’s main Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platform.

ReStart has worked in partnership with SWYPFT for over a decade, delivering trusted integration solutions and providing proactive support for their integration engine, ensuring smooth system messaging and minimal disruption to staff and patients.

This latest project further strengthens our long-standing relationship. The selection of IMX Archive demonstrates the Trust’s commitment to safeguarding legacy clinical data while progressing with digital transformation. By securely archiving Carenotes, the Trust ensures that historical patient information remains accessible and compliant, without compromising the performance of their new EPR.

“On 1 October 2024 services at Cheswold Park Hospital (CPH), a 112-bed adult low and medium secure inpatient unit in Doncaster transferred to the SWYPFT.  As part of the transition into the Trust, we needed a trusted partner to archive the legacy data held within the existing Carenotes electronic patient record in a secure, accessible, and user-friendly way for staff at CPH to access following the move over to SystmOne.
