We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Implementation Specialist with experience in healthcare software to join our growing Delivery team.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll play a key part in the successful discovery, demonstration, configuration, deployment and adoption of our IMX platform.
Working across customers, Sales, Product, Delivery and technical teams, you’ll help ensure customer needs are understood, translated into practical implementation plans and delivered to a high standard.

The Role:
As an Implementation Specialist, you’ll work closely with customers to understand their existing workflows, operational challenges, integration points and desired outcomes. You’ll support product discovery, translate requirements into clear implementation plans and help ensure IMX is configured and deployed in a way that meets both customer expectations and business objectives.
A key part of the role will also be demonstrating IMX to prospective and existing customers. You’ll need to be comfortable presenting to clinical, operational, technical and commercial stakeholders, adapting your approach to different audiences and clearly communicating both the capabilities of the platform and how it can support their needs.
From discovery through to go-live and beyond, you’ll help create a smooth, professional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery
- Work with customers, Sales, Product and Delivery teams to understand objectives, workflows, constraints and success criteria.
- Support product discovery sessions, capturing current-state processes, future requirements and implementation considerations.
- Guide customers through the data mapping process, ensuring source data is accurately understood, mapped and validated.
- Translate discovery outputs into clear requirements, implementation scope, configuration needs and product feedback.
- Identify workflow dependencies, data considerations, operational risks and opportunities to improve customer outcomes.
Product & Customer Demonstrations
- Prepare and deliver engaging product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.
- Tailor demonstrations to customer objectives, workflows and operational requirements.
- Support sales-led demonstrations by clearly explaining IMX functionality, workflow benefits and the implementation approach.
- Use customer feedback to inform product discovery, implementation planning and future product improvements.
- Maintain strong knowledge of IMX functionality, roadmap direction and delivery capability.
Implementation & Delivery
- Participate directly in software implementations, including system configuration and workflow setup.
- Support data archiving, migration, validation and reconciliation activities where required.
- Develop and execute test plans and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect triage.
- Assist with deployment planning, go-live readiness and post-implementation support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and work collaboratively with technical teams to resolve them.
- Contribute to implementation documentation, training materials, user guides and customer handover materials.
- Liaise with Product, Design and Development teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered appropriately.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, customer onboarding, discovery and demonstration materials.
- Help develop standardised templates, playbooks and best-practice approaches for repeatable implementation delivery.
- Capture lessons learned from customer implementations and feed these back into Product, Delivery and operational improvements.
- Use customer feedback and implementation insights to recommend practical improvements to the way we work.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Experience in software implementation, product discovery, business analysis or customer-facing delivery within healthcare or health software.
- Confidence preparing and delivering product demonstrations to a range of stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, including clinical, operational or administrative processes.
- Ability to gather requirements and translate customer needs into practical implementation actions.
- Experience supporting activities such as configuration, testing, data validation, UAT, training and go-live preparation.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, organise competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
- A customer-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality delivery.
- An eye for process improvement and creating more consistent, efficient and repeatable ways of working.
Desirable:
- Business Analysis, Project Management or Implementation qualification.
- Front-line clinical or operational experience within the NHS or healthcare sector.
- CSO training.
- Hands-on experience with system configuration, workflow setup or customer onboarding.
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR or other healthcare data standards.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
