ReStart is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted jointly with its customer SLaM in the “Using Data to Connect to Services” award category with a project entitled Interoperability of data to support Mental Health Innovation.

The HSJ Awards continues to be seen as one of the most esteemed accolades of healthcare service excellence in the UK. This year’s awards will adhere to the values of sharing best practice, improving patient outcomes, and innovating drivers of better service as well as recognising outstanding work within the sector.

The award itself recognises NHS initiatives where data sharing has made a real difference. Judges are looking for successful implementation of systems and technologies which have enabled improvements to patient care – identifying needs, improving outcomes, experience and supporting patients to manage their own conditions, releasing time for care.

An integral ambition of Integrated Care Systems and a critical success factor for networks and collaboratives is to enable free-flowing patient data and information across the care pathway – with the eventual goal to also connect with wider local authority and social care partners. Connected data and intelligence has the power to drive transformative change and deliver enormous benefits for the patient.

Andy Meiner, Chief Revenue Officer for ReStart, says “This shortlisting recognises the hard work, dedication and ground breaking work of both sets of team members for SLaM and ReStart. The project is making a difference to the lives of patients and their families across the UK already.”

The winner will be revealed at a gala event to be held in London on 17th November. The full shortlist can be viewed here.
